Beyond recruitment, PCA clients have direct access to elite MLB Mental Skills coaching, and can take advantage of additional services including Motor Preference Assessments and specialized strength and conditioning programming designed specifically for baseball performance and longevity.

At PCA, we don't just open doors, we help you walk through the right one.

Our Team

Randy bishop

Randy Bishop has spent decades in and around the game of baseball as a coach, advisor, and advocate for the sport. A Bay Area native and longtime coach at Marin Catholic High School, Randy has built a reputation as a trusted mentor for young players navigating the path from high school to the college level. He co-founded PCA alongside his son Braden with a shared mission: to give student-athletes the honest guidance and personalized attention that can make all the difference in the recruiting process. Randy is also a passionate supporter of Alzheimer's awareness and a proud member of the 4MOM Foundation community.

Founder

jesse foppert

Jesse Foppert grew up in San Rafael, California, attending San Rafael High School before going on to the University of San Francisco. He was selected in the 2nd round (74th overall) by the San Francisco Giants in the 2001 MLB Draft and quickly became one of the most electrifying pitching prospects in the game. He led all Giants minor leaguers with 183 strikeouts and was named the organization's minor league player of the year in 2002, ranked the 5th highest prospect by Baseball America and the best pitching prospect heading into 2003. Jesse made his MLB debut that year with San Francisco before injuries derailed what scouts widely considered a future ace career. Today, he channels that competitive drive into the next generation as Head Baseball Coach at Marin Catholic High School. His deep roots in the Bay Area, firsthand knowledge of what it takes to reach professional baseball, and daily commitment to developing young players make him the ideal leader for PCA's mission.

Braden bishop

Consultant

Braden Bishop was drafted by the Seattle Mariners in the 3rd round of the 2015 MLB Draft out of the University of Washington, where he was a standout center fielder and one of the Pac-12's top baserunners. He spent nine years in professional baseball, earning MLB time with both the Mariners and the San Francisco Giants. His major league debut came in one of baseball's most memorable moments — entering as a defensive replacement for Ichiro Suzuki during the Seattle icon's final career game. After his playing career, Braden went on to work as a certified MLBPA player agent and amateur draft recruiting representative at Boras Corporation, one of the most prestigious agencies in sports, giving him a rare dual perspective as both a former player and a professional talent evaluator. He brings that experience directly to PCA families. Braden is also the founder of the 4MOM Foundation, which provides financial and emotional support to families impacted by Alzheimer's and dementia in honor of his mother Suzy.
